President’s Greetings
President: Kyeong-Hee Lee
Dear Visitors,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene (KSDH).
My name is Kyeong-Hee Lee, and I am honored to serve as the 13th President of the KSDH.
Since its foundation in 2000, the Society has dedicated itself to advancing dental hygiene education and research for over two decades. Through these efforts, it has grown into the leading academic organization representing dental hygiene in Korea.
This achievement was made possible by the unwavering trust of our members, as well as the dedication of former presidents and executive members who laid a strong foundation for us.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all of you.
The 13th Executive Board is committed to upholding the vision of our predecessors while proactively preparing for the future of our profession in a rapidly changing environment.
We aim to lead the Society with a focus on communication, connection, and advancement.
First, we will strengthen the academic identity of dental hygiene and foster integrated connections between education, research, and clinical practice.
By revitalizing subcommittees and research networks, we will enhance the professionalism of dental hygiene and solidify its status within the healthcare sector.
Second, we will strive for continuous qualitative growth so that the Journal of the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene can evolve from a national leader into an internationally recognized academic journal.
Based on research ethics and rigor, we will strengthen our
operational systems to promote the dissemination of outstanding research.
Third, we will expand collaboration with diverse academic societies and related organizations, transcending the boundaries of disciplines.
Through openness and solidarity, we will broaden our academic horizons and fulfill our public responsibility.
Fourth, we will build an academic platf아m where members1 research achievements and clinical experiences are respected and shared.
By creating opportunities for communication across generations and regions, we will foster an environment where all members can grow together.
The future of dental hygiene is shaped by the research and practice of each and every member.
The 13th Executive Board of the KSDH will always stand by you, thinking and moving forward together.
We ask for your continued interest and active participation.
Thank you.
